This place has put a spin on traditional bowling. It is a full running restaurant and bar but with a bowling alley. There are 10 lanes downstairs and I believe there are 10 lanes upstairs as well. Now you can choose to bowl and eat or just eat.
I met my friend Ashley V, her friend Emily and Emily's dad at Splitsville (which is located in Downtown Disney right near Cirque de Soliel). After we checked in for bowling we waited for our lane to be set up. The girls in their funky bowling print skirts (I want one) got everything set up and ready for us and then took us to our table and lane. As soon as we sat down Jimmie our waiter came right over to take our drink order.
After drinks it was time to decide on what we wanted to eat. After Jimmie took our order we got into some bowling.
After a few rounds our food showed up :)
The food was amazing! I mean come on just look at those nachos piled high! And the calamari was delicious. I was not a big fan of the dipping sauce but the sauce that they were coated in was oh so yummy!
Emily and I decided on these beauties... frozen strawberry margaritas! Yum.
It was a wonderful night out and fun! Even though I am terrible at bowling it is still fun to go out with the girls and catch up over a fun activity and of course beverages of the alcohol sorts. *wink*
*My Thoughts*
If you fancy giving them a try they are on the expensive side and Splitsville is located in Downtown Disney.
It would be a fun day out to take the family or a date.
